Your Data Never Leaves Your Device
Superhuman Flow is built with privacy at its core. All your settings, timer history, and statistics are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Local Browser Storage (localStorage)
The following information is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers:
- Timer Settings: Your customized focus, short break, and long break durations
- Session Statistics: Daily counts of completed focus sessions and breaks
- User Preferences: Theme choices, notification settings, and background preferences
- Session History: Local record of your timer usage for personal tracking
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Superhuman Flow. This data is used exclusively for developer feedback, website improvement, and logic optimization. Analytics help us identify bugs, understand which features are most valuable, and improve the overall user experience.
What We Track:
- Page views and navigation patterns
- Button clicks and feature usage (e.g., "timer started", "settings opened")
- Device type and browser information
- Approximate location (city level, not precise)
What We DON'T Track:
- Your actual timer data (focus sessions, breaks, etc.)
- Personal information (name, email, address)
- Keystrokes or mouse movements
- Content you create or tasks you track
You can opt out of analytics at any time through your browser's Do Not Track settings or by using browser extensions that block analytics scripts.
3. Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies to track usage patterns and user behavior. These cookies are set automatically when you use Superhuman Flow:
- Analytics Cookies: Google Analytics cookies (via Google Tag Manager) to track page views, button clicks, and feature usage
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies beyond Google Analytics are used. You can block these cookies using browser settings or extensions.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Period.
The only third-party service we use is Google Analytics (with your consent), which is governed by Google's privacy policy.
5. Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you have complete control:
- Access: Your data is always accessible to you via browser developer tools
- Delete: Clear your browser's localStorage or cache to remove all data
- Export: Use browser tools to export your localStorage data (export feature coming soon)
- Opt-Out: Disable analytics by enabling Do Not Track in your browser
6. Children's Privacy
Superhuman Flow does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally, we have no way of knowing the age of our users. Parents should supervise their children's internet usage.
7. Security
Since your data never leaves your device, it's as secure as your browser and device. We recommend:
- Keeping your browser updated
- Using a secure password for your device
- Being cautious on shared/public computers
